COMPUTER-CONTROLLED LOCAL ANESTHESIA / WATERLOO + YORKVILLE

WAND System STA

Single-tooth anesthesia designed to deliver local anesthetic in a controlled way for selected dental procedures.

TECHNOLOGY WITH A PURPOSE

A different approach to local anesthesia.

Ashraf Dentistry uses the Single Tooth Anesthesia System, also known as the WAND STA, for selected procedures.

Instead of relying on a conventional manual syringe technique, the system uses computer-controlled delivery. Its purpose is to support controlled administration of local anesthetic and reduce injection discomfort for appropriate cases.

WHAT IT ADDS

WAND System STA at a glance.

CONTROL

Computer-regulated delivery

The system controls aspects of anesthetic delivery rather than depending only on manual syringe pressure.

TARGET

Single-tooth applications

STA techniques can be used for selected procedures where localized anesthesia is appropriate.

COMFORT

Designed around patient experience

The technology is intended to make local-anesthetic delivery more comfortable for suitable patients.

HOW IT FITS INTO CARE

Local anesthesia is still individualized.

01

Assess

The dentist determines the type and extent of anesthesia required for the planned procedure.

02

Deliver

For suitable procedures, the STA system can provide computer-controlled anesthetic delivery.

03

Confirm

Treatment begins only after adequate local anesthesia has been established.

CONNECTED DENTISTRY

Part of a larger clinical workflow.

Technology at Ashraf Dentistry is integrated with diagnosis, restorative care, implant planning, patient comfort and infection prevention rather than operating as a stand-alone feature.
