3D DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING / WATERLOO + YORKVILLE

3D CT Scan

Three-dimensional CBCT imaging for diagnosis, surgical planning and a clearer view of jaw anatomy.

TECHNOLOGY WITH A PURPOSE

See the jaw in three dimensions.

Ashraf Dentistry’s 3D CT scanner captures the jaw in a single scan and provides volumetric information that conventional two-dimensional images cannot show in the same way.

The practice uses 3D CBCT imaging as a diagnostic and treatment-planning tool, and dental implant planning is completed with CBCT imaging before surgery.

WHAT IT ADDS

3D CT Scan at a glance.

3D

Volumetric anatomy

CBCT creates three-dimensional information about teeth, jawbone and relevant surrounding structures.

IMPLANTS

Pre-surgical planning

Bone volume, implant position and nearby anatomy can be assessed before the procedure.

DIAGNOSIS

Another diagnostic view

The scan can support treatment planning when three-dimensional information is clinically useful.

HOW IT FITS INTO CARE

From image to treatment plan.

01

Capture

A CBCT scan records the area being evaluated as a three-dimensional data set.

02

Review

The dentist reviews the anatomy relevant to the diagnostic or surgical question.

03

Plan

For implant care, the imaging is incorporated into pre-surgical planning before implant placement.

CONNECTED DENTISTRY

Part of a larger clinical workflow.

Technology at Ashraf Dentistry is integrated with diagnosis, restorative care, implant planning, patient comfort and infection prevention rather than operating as a stand-alone feature.
